Red Cross completes financial audit of ousted CEO

The American Red Cross concluded an investigation into the spending practices of ousted CEO Mark Everson and found no “misappropriation” of funds, said Carrie Martin, Red Cross spokeswoman. Everson resigned Nov. 27 after the board discovered he engaged in a personal relationship with a chapter executive.
